Brandon and I went to see a new specialist last week. We got a lot of information and decided on our next step.
Our 'next step' is a three part step. One, two, three, or none of the things we will be testing could be our problem with staying pregnant.
1. We will have DNA testing on both Brandon and I. If there is a problem with this our option would be IVF with good DNA egg/sperm.
2. I will have a hysteroscopy to see if there are any problems with my uterus. Most problems can be "fixed" with an out patient procedure.
3. We are having all our pathology sent to NYC to a specialist to see if there might be a placenta problem. If this is the case there is not a lot they can do so it would be a try at own risk thing or surrogacy.
We are now in a holding pattern. We will most likely not get all the results in for 2-3 months (longer depending on the NYC doc). After all the results are in we will sit down with the specialist again and see what he found and plan!
So, all that said.....
Our prayer requests are:
Peace as we wait, not letting Satan bring worry or discontentment into our lives and marriage.
Speed, in the NYC doctor looking at the pathology and reporting.
An answer, that the doctor will be able to answer the question of why we keep losing babies.
Comfort, if we don't find an answer or it is not a good outcome, that we know our God is bigger and He has a perfect plan for us.
We are so thankful for our joy in Eli and know that the Lord has wonderful things in store for our lives, it just might not be our plan, but it is His plan.

Super Bowl
This was Eli and Hogan's 3rd Super Bowl.
Amy and I thought it would be funny to pose them with a beer, who knows they might be roommates someday and think it is as funny as we do???
Look how they have grown!
2 months old
not hard at all to pose
Snow in Texas!
As many know we had a few days of ice and only one real day of snow.
Eli and I stayed home on Tuesday with daddy.
On Wednesday daddy went to work and it was just Eli and mommy.
On Thursday daddy went to work in mommy's car, thinking we would stay in all day, but Eli woke up complaining of his ears hurting. I called the doctor and they wanted to see him. So mommy drove daddy's truck to the doctors. The main streets were not bad but the side roads were. At one point we did not make it up a hill and started sliding back sideways. Eli calmly says "no mommy, that away." pointing out the side window up the hill.
We did make it to the doctor after an hour drive (normally 25 min). Went potty then waited for the doctor. When the doctor asked Eli what hurt he said his ears. She checked them and.... they looked great, no infection. He was completely healthy. But his 2 year old molars are coming in, the pain is shouting into his ears, making him say his ears hurt. Something for pain as needed.
Potty then back in the truck to head home. Oh waist, Eli pee peed in his car seat! Wonderful, I clean up as best I can, change the boy, and we head home!
On Friday daddy stayed home again. With the snow on the ground we went out to play!!
Here are a few pics of our outing. Eli made it about 25 minutes before he lost a glove and came in.

night for three days. So not fun for mommy and daddy.
We moved Eli into a big boy bed.
He has been sleeping so much better now that he can flip and roll in his sleep without hitting the sides of his bed.
Look the bed head!

He loves them!
He loved the tractors!!

Do all boys need reading material to use the potty!
And of course it's a tractor book!
Rose Bowl
Over New Years Brandon and I headed to California to see TCU win the Rose Bowl!
While there we got to see my cousins new babies, Sophia and Alexander!!
We also took in the sights and had a great New Year's Party!
Me getting some Sophia time.
Both babies! Alexander and Sophia
Over looking Santa Monica Pier

The same look out but with the beach in the background.

Overlooking the city
(even locals where up here because it was so clear due to a recent rain)

The Hollywood sign that used to read Hollywoodland.
