I'm a few weeks late but I want to say Happy Birthday to my sweet baby boy Eli!!
I can't believe it's been four years since we welcomed Eli Matthew Fleming. What a blessing he has been to our lives.
A few things I want to remember about Eli.
Eli has an extencive vocabulary. Everyday Brandon and I are amazed by what he says and that Eli uses phrases and words correctly. He can also be sarcastic.
Eli talks to Luke all the time. He will say something to Luke then wait for Luke to answer. Then he will say "do you understand".
He will say, "this car is pretty stylish" and "sure thing" instead of yes.
Spegettie is "Bgettie"
Disappered is "Bepeared"
Each others is "their chothers"
I learned is "daddy learned me that"
Eli had some regresstion on potty training but everyone says that's normal after a new baby.
Anything with wheels and Eli loves it. Trucks, Trains, Cars, Tracktors!!
Eli mows with daddy all the time. He seems to enjoy playing with the mowed grass more than mowing but it's fun to watch the fun!
Baseball is one of Eli's favorite sprots. He plays with his batter game from Aunt Kelsey and Aunt Tarah all the time. He loves to hit the ball across the street.
Eli is also playing soccer. He has been taking a skills class this semester and loves it.
Eli sleeps with a ton of animals. He's favorite are his piggy and giraffie. But there are also two horses, two dogs, a douphne, a whale, and a few others.
He is a great sleeper and sleeps most nights until 8:00am. He also naps most days for 3 hours.
Eli is in 4T clothes right now. He needs the length of the 4T pants but some of the shirts a bit short.
He has out grown his last pair of Grammy PJs. It was hard to put them away but someday Luke will get to wear them and I'll get to tell him about buying them with Grammy.
Eli is 34.4 lb and 39.5 in. In the 37% and 34%.
Eli loves the "petting zoo"! We try and make it a few times a month. We see all the animals but the lion is a favorite and riding the train is how we end our day.
Eli's favorite TV shows are Mickey Mouse Club House and Doc McStuffins. He's favorite moves are Cars 2 (or Cars Toon) and Cars.
Puzzles are a favorite. Eli does all his floor puzzles at once, spreding them out all over the living room. He has started working on harder puzzles, a 150 peice puzzle is the hardest one he has done.
Eli can count past 20 but sometimes mixes up the teens. He knows most of his letters and told me he wants to learn how to read.
He knows what we are trying to say when we spell words like, zoo, nap, Eli, piggie, and snow cone.
Talking in code doesn't work either, Brandon and I can't understand and Eli ends up translating.
Eli loves to make up songs. He sings all the time to Luke and to himself. He likes when mommy and daddy make up stories. Eli will tell us what animals he wants in the story and then asks us to make the story up.
Eli loves veggies.
