6 years, 9 months, and sick child visit

Written Dec 23, 2014 but it didn't publish for some reason.

Eli had his six year well child visit a little late so I only had to take the boys in once for both Eli and Isaacs checks. Luke was not feeling well so he had a sick child visit at the same time.

Here are the boys stats.
Eli
41.8 lb         22%
45 1/4 in      42%

Luke
32 lb            69%
36 1/2 in      49%

Isaac
19.4 lb         41%
27 in             5%

We are going to work on Eli's weight since he only gained one and a half pounds this year and grew about 3 inches.
Isaac is doing well although he is a bit short, but he is so cute.
Luke is right on. He was sick with strep:(

Here are so fun facts:

Eli loves building things. Legos, train tracks (although he doesn't play trains after, it's the building he likes), race tracks, army's, and anything else he can think of.
Kindergarten is a blast. He loves school and his teacher Mrs. Harmon.
Reading is still a favorite activity for Eli.
Eli is a great big brother.

Isaac is sitting up and rolling around but not crawling yet.
He is still getting up to nurse a few times every night and not eating food great. We are working on that!
He loves his daddy and brothers. His smile is huge anytime he see one of them.

Luke loves preschool and would go every day if I let him.
He loves music and dancing.
Luke still has his blanket or "night night" to sleep and when he is upset.

Teeth

GII have a ton to post but wanted to make sure I get this one in.

Isaac has not one but two teeth!  At a few days past his 7 month bday he got both his bottom front teeth. Beating his brothers by two months!

Six Months!

Isaac was six months old last Wednesday, September 17!
I can't believe how fast time flies. He is such a cutie.
He can roll over, and does almost as soon as you put him on his back.
Isaac is still sleeping in his rock and sleep in our room/bathroom depending on how loud he is being.
He isn't sitting by him self yet but I think he's close.
He has started cereal and even tried sweet potatoes but isn't getting the swallow down.
Isaac has had his first fever and stomach bug this last week:( it was so sad but he rebounded fast!
He loves to 'talk' and blow raspberries.
He is not spitting up as much but he still gets daddy often.
Isaac was sleeping through the night but has started getting up once to eat. Bed at 9, eat around 2, up at 7.

Isaac's stats:
25 1/2 in, 7%
16lb 7oz, 26%

Sweet Potatoes

Just two days from Isaac's six month birthday I tried sweet potatoes!
He seemed to not hate them. But he doesn't get the shut mouth and swallow thing. He just let's the food (until today oatmeal cereal) sit in his mouth until it falls out.

Let's hope he gets it soon.

Poop

How does that happen you might ask?
Apparently quite easy since this is the third time it's happened in the last week. He tried to "deal with it" by his self. Not a good idea. Because that means it's down his legs, on his shirt, all over his hands.
Gross gross gross.

This all happened while I was trying to fix dinner, make baby food, and deal with Luke's booboo from running into a door with his face:)

Luke's 1st Day of School

Luke had his first day of preschool today. (Sept 3, didn't publish the first time)
He told daddy this morning he wasn't going, but when we got to school he wanted to carry his backpack and lunch. Luke walked right in and only asked about me once, the teacher told him I'd be back later and he was good.

What a big boy!

Daddy's Boots

Luke said he needed daddy's boots.

As he was walking he said, "Walking in daddy's boots!"

1st day of Kindergarten

Eli had a great first day of kindergarten. His teacher is Ms. Harmon and he says he's "so glad I have a great teacher, she's awesome".
Eli's exact words to me I think it's in the car, "it's more awesome than I ever thought it would be!"
His favorite part if the day was PE and seeing his best friend Ian in the hall and 'stuff'.
He was surprised that lunch was so short, he didn't have time to eat everything:)
Mommy did ok. It was a long day waiting for pick up to roll around. And Luke asked 20+ times "where Eli at mommy?"
Here are some great pics.

Museum

Last week we got a pass to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
The boys really enjoyed it the first time we went and then we got to go back today and go with friends!
Here are some fun pics.

On a side note, yes Eli and Luke have the same outfits on both days. I dress the boys in bright colors so they are easier to spot when we are out and about.
