Hail

This is what fell from the sky in early June. (not the green golf ball but I needed something to show size) I was not able to collect the baseball and softball sized hail since it hit first and then the golf ball started. I thought it was a good idea to wait until all hail had stopped falling and the sirens had gone off before going outside!
Brandon's truck was outside and got a lot of dings and the roof is totaled. We had to replace our roof at the old house and now in just over a year in the new house get to replace this roof! Oh, the joy of Texas weather.

Memorial Day

Wow I'm late on this post!! But here it is....

We spent Memorial Day out at the lake with friends. The Curry Family and Eaton Family stayed with with Brandon, Eli, and I out at the lake. We had friends come join us on Sunday to celebrate. Here is the day in pictures.

In the back ground you can see we put the bounce house to work again!

I tried to get a pic of everyone but I miss d a few...

Cory Curry did come with his family, he drove the boat most of the time, THANKS CORY!

Brian Wood brought both of his girls out not just Jane. Sorry I missed getting Eloise, she is so cute. And Amanda was able to join the family after work.

I also missed Kristl and Dave Eaton, guess I was busy taking pics of their cute baby girl.

We had a great time and hope to see everyone out again next year!!

On the Farm and Mother's Day

We headed north for Mother's Day to celebrate with my family and mom. Blake and Lauren came in to town for Lauren's brother's graduation from OSU.

We drove up on Friday after Brandon got off of work just in time to put Eli to bed.

On Saturday we drove up to my Aunt Ruth and Uncle Leon's house.

Eli loved seeing the cows and sheep. A few new lambs were born while we were there.

Eli also called the cows like Uncle Leon taught him for a few weeks after!

The high-light of the trip was 'driving' the tractor with Uncle Leon.

Resting on the swing after a drive!

On Mother's Day we went to church as a family then headed to lunch to celebrate with Lauren's parents. (it was their wedding anniversary)

Bryan, Carrie, and the kids came down that afternoon to play and see Grammy.

Brandon spoiled me with a wonderful Mother's Day gift.

A spa day with Amy Fleming and dinner!!

Thank you!!

May, minus Mother's Day and Memorial Day

Here is a look at May in Pictures! Sorry it's so late.

Eli at the zoo. He loves feeding the birds.

We took another trip to zoo with our friends Corrie, Lillie, and Luke.

We ended up leaving early because storms rolled in, but we had a great time in between the rain.

Here is Eli and Lillie looking at the fish.

Eli and Emma

Eli always wants to jump off the rock in front of the school.

We went out to the lake to see Papa and Grammy.

Papa braved the cold water to swim with Eli.

We went to the park with Emma on the 1st of June.

Eli and Emma ready to cross the street.

Feeding the ducks.

They ran most of the ducks off so the birds took over.

We had a great month!
