Yesterday Eli was officially 4 1/2 years old.
He is an amazing kid. He loves telling jokes (few are really funny but the way he tells them always makes us laugh).
The things he says crack me up and amaze me. Here are a few from this week:
Eli to Luke after Luke tried to walk in the street. I stopped him and he was crying: "sorry baby but you just can't walk in the street. Someone could run over you and then you'd be dead forever. You don't want to be dead, you want to stay alive"
Said very sweetly trying to calm him down.
And
The boys in the closet one morning.
E- "no Luke, don't pull those"
Me- "what is he doing?"
E- "he has your boob covers"
Me- "what?"
E- "your boob covers!"
When I say "know one knows" Eli response by saying "God knows!"
He still pronounces some words wrong but so cute!
Our chuthers = each others
Also he has his own words:
Thumb toe = big toe
Boob covers = bra
When I call him "my baby" Eli tells me I can always call him baby even when he's all grown up.
Eli just finished his 3rd year of preschool. He will be going 3 days a week next year to get ready for kindergarten. Ill miss my baby but know he needs it.
Eli also played his 1st season of soccer, and loved it!
We are about to start swim lessons and have a full summer planned!
I can't wait to see how much Eli grows over the next 6 months!
