My cleaning men.

Eli has been very into vacuuming lately. I love it!
This morning he tells me, "mom, the floors are looking dirty again, I better get the vacuum out!"
So off he went with the vacuum. And they were just vacuumed Wednesday night, by Eli.
He also likes to dust!
Here are a few pics, some with Luke helping out:)

Luke's 1st Boat Ride and Pool Fun!

For Memorial Day Weekend we had the Curry family out to the lake house. We took the boys on the boat, spent time at the freezing pool, and had a great BBQ dinner.
It was Luke's first time on a boat. He lived it at first, then he realized he was two hours late for his morning nap.
Here are some pics.

Love

We went out to the lake for Memorial Day weekend. Saturday it rained off and on and was cloudy, but Eli insisted on going to the pool. IT WAS FREEZING!
Both Luke and Eli loved it!

Eli 4 1/2

Yesterday Eli was officially 4 1/2 years old.
He is an amazing kid. He loves telling jokes (few are really funny but the way he tells them always makes us laugh).
The things he says crack me up and amaze me. Here are a few from this week:
Eli to Luke after Luke tried to walk in the street. I stopped him and he was crying: "sorry baby but you just can't walk in the street. Someone could run over you and then you'd be dead forever. You don't want to be dead, you want to stay alive"
Said very sweetly trying to calm him down.
And
The boys in the closet one morning.
E- "no Luke, don't pull those"
Me- "what is he doing?"
E- "he has your boob covers"
Me- "what?"
E- "your boob covers!"

When I say "know one knows" Eli response by saying "God knows!"

He still pronounces some words wrong but so cute!
Our chuthers = each others

Also he has his own words:
Thumb toe = big toe
Boob covers = bra
When I call him "my baby" Eli tells me I can always call him baby even when he's all grown up.

Eli just finished his 3rd year of preschool. He will be going 3 days a week next year to get ready for kindergarten. Ill miss my baby but know he needs it.
Eli also played his 1st season of soccer, and loved it!
We are about to start swim lessons and have a full summer planned!
I can't wait to see how much Eli grows over the next 6 months!

Luke

Luke wanted to ride the motor cycle but isn't quite big enough.
The look on Luke's face when the car fell over (with him in it) was priceless. I got the pic of him trying to figure out how to get out.

Eli's School Program

Eli had his school program today. It was so cute. They sang about butterflies with actions to the words, did a little rhythm stick song, sang in spanish, and more.
I can't believe another school year is down, my baby is growing up.
He had wonderful teachers and made great friends.

May Fun

We went to an art show at Aunt Kelsey's school. Eli loved looking at the art and even bought something in the auction.

We went to the park with friends. We played and feed the ducks, before Luke got sick and we headed home.

Poor Luke didn't feel good.
Crazy Eli!
We went to Burleson to visit a few friends that mommy taught with. Eli jumped right into center time in Mrs. Kiser's kindergarten room.

We said "see you later" to the Wall's. the parents talked while the kids played:)

One of my favorite things is to see daddy reading to Eli.

What a great month, and May isn't even over!
