Time Out

Today I put Luke in timeout for the first time. He keeps throwing water bottles / sippy cups at his brother. He did not like it at all, although it didn't keep him from throwing:/. I hope it gets easier fast! 

First Day Of School

Eli's first day of school was September 4th. 

It was his first day of his last year of preschool. He is going three days a week to get ready for kindergarten:/

I'm so excited for Eli but I miss him during the day! And so does Luke, he looks for him all day.

Eli ready to go. 

Luke is 17 months old!

Luke is using a big boy Nalgene water bottle. 

He is eating pretty much whatever we eat. 

He eats a pouch of baby food as a veggie for snacks sometimes. 

He is going up and down the stairs pretty independently,  Although the gate is still up. 

Luke sleeps through the night and normally takes one good nap a day, but sometime still takes two naps a day. 

Luke wants to do whatever big brother is doing. 

Luke has no fear,  He tries everything.

He is a climber. You turn around and he is on top of something, table, ladder, chair. 

He has also started throwing very dramatic fits, he throws himself down on the ground screaming when he doesn't get his way. 

Luke still has his night night that he sucks on, kind of gross. 

He is talking more, mama, dada, bubu, (to the right people) repeats words back to you, ball, thank you, doc doc, and more. Signs please, more, and all done. 

Luke tells you what he wants by showing you; going to the fridge, taking your hand and leading you, or handing you the remote. 

Luke loves bouncy balls and playing music.
