So, I am a bit behind on my posts. Here is what we have been up to over the past month and a look at Eli, 23 months!!
Daddy and Eli playing golf
On the way to school the sun gets in Eli's eyes so he asks for his glasses! He does not wear them right most of the time but loves to hold them.
Amy and I took the boys to the pumpkin patch this year. We thought we would get a few good pics and let Hogan and Eli jump in the bounce house.
The bounce house was great....

Getting the cute pumpkin pis we wanted was a little harder. The boys can walk this year and don't stay still long.
We took the boys to lunch after the pumpkin patch and they still had energy to play more!
Blake and Lauren were in Oklahoma one weekend and we all got together at her parents house on Saturday and my parents on Sunday.
Eli loved the tractor at Lauren's house.
The next weekend we all went to Las Vegas to see Blake and Lauren (this was planned before they knew they could come back to OK).
Eli took his last plane ride as a lap baby. One reason is that he will be two soon, the other is that keeping an active little boy on your lap for three hours without bothering others around you is impossible! Thank goodness for portable DVD players.
Here is daddy showing Eli a new toy!
While there we went to a fall festival near Blake and Lauren's home.
Here is Eli at the petting zoo.

Since Blake and Lauren won't be back for Thanksgiving and Eli's birthday they had a few things for him to open.

The last day we were there I tried for the mother of the year award.
Eli did not get the time change (2 hours) so got up at 6am after being up off and on all night with a cough. I set up the DVD player with Imagination Movers, where he could not reach it, left him in his pack-in-play, and went back to bed.
Later at lunch we went to In-Out Burger. Eli did not like his burger and only wanted fries. I let him have fries and a milk shack for lunch. We did not fly in until 10 pm and Eli did not sleep at all on the plane and only had a 30 min nap all day. After we got back, Brandon took Eli to the doctor for his flu shot and to check out his cough (that he still had), he had double ear infections.
See Mother of the Year!
Here he is enjoying lunch!

Eli 23 months!
Eli is very into animals, planes, trains, and buses. He still loves music and playing ball. He is talking even more and has started singing a lot. He asks where people are all the time, even when he has not seen them for awhile. He can also pick people and himself out in pictures. He is understanding that some people go together, like Bryce and Benjamin, Papa and GiGi (Grammy but Eli can't say it), Georgia and YaYa (Aunt Amy), and Hogan and Shack (Amy Curry, known at Aunt Shack). Eli loves school and does not even say bye most days (or he does over his shoulder as he heads to the play area). He likes to line his animals and trucks up along a wall or on a table then he moves them a few at a time and lines them up some place else. He is very perticular (sp?) about this and wants no help! My favorite thing he is doing is that he will clean up! He sings a song and puts all the toys back in the bucket (he sometimes turns the bucket over as soon as it is full but I can grab it most times).
Here is my only pic of him on his 23rd month b-day. Thanks YaYa for the tutu!
Amanda and I took the kids to the Arboretum in Dallas. The kids had their faces painted first thing then we took some pumpkin patch pictures! So cute!!
There was a music program while we were there. Here are a few pics of the kids dancing with the instructor.
The kids loved playing in the Texas home area
Wow - so many new pics! Enjoyed the update :)
