Peas anyone?

Eli has been eating rice cereal and oatmeal cereal for the past month or so. He is not a fan of the rice cereal but enjoys the oatmeal cereal quite a bit. With the oatmeal cereal if I do not feed him fast enough he will start crying. He opens his mouth and then dives for the spoon before I can get it to his mouth.


Yesterday we tried peas. It did not go so well. Eli opened his mouth thinking he was going to be feed oatmeal and got a mouth full of peas. First he spit the peas out, then he started gaging and using his hands to scrape his tongue. It was funny and dramatic all wrapped in one sad scene.
